If you’re taking this course, it means that you’ve decided to become a member of Encounter Church. Whether you attend Encounter Church in person or online, you play a vital role. In this course, you’ll learn about our values, vision, mission, core beliefs, and more. You’ll also learn about your responsibilities as a member. At the end of this course, if you are prepared to commit to membership, you will receive a membership certificate. Let’s begin.

We want Encounter Church to be a place where the Holy Spirit is welcomed and honored. Our mission for every service is to partake in Spirit-led worship and hear Spirit-inspired teaching and preaching so that we might become Spirit-filled people.

At Encounter Church, we take the fundamentals of the faith seriously. While there is room for debate among believers on certain doctrines, there is no room for debate on core beliefs. Here are some of our core beliefs.

In this session, you’ll learn the values that we hope will shape the culture of Encounter Church.

In this session, we outline the agenda for not only Encounter Church but also for our umbrella organization, David Hernandez Ministries.

In this short session, our overall ministry approach is explained.

In this final video lesson, the commitment we ask of our members is outlined. In the next lesson, you will be asked to affirm these commitments as well as our core beliefs. Once you have completed these affirmations, whether you plan to attend online or in person, you will be issued official membership with Encounter Church. These commitments and affirmations are requirements for membership.
